COMPANY’S POLICY STATEMENT ON QA/QC

The Primary Policy of Al latifia Trading & Contracting, is to maintain the highest standard of quality work that meets, if not exceeds, its client standard and requirements.

Al Latifia is fully committed & dedicated to deliver highest quality work within its client’s need, on time and within the budget. It is our long term commitment to the construction market and the importance we place on maintaining quality and integrity.

To achieve Quality Assurance & Quality Control on all area of project various steps have been effectively implemented.

All the employees of Al Latifia are instructed to follow the instructions mentioned in the QC Manual. Any deviation from this manual will not be allowed and tolerated.

QA/QC system being a continuous process and there is always chance to improve the manual further, this manual may be updated as and when required.

INTRODUCTION OF THE QUALITY CONTROL POLICY

The primary objective of Al Latifia Trading & Contracting Co. is to develop a steady growth through efficient teamwork that relies on achieving the highest standard of quality and workmanship.

Our multinational team of professionals from all developing countries and skilled & unskilled workforce is considered one of our great resources. Through constant motivation by the Management, our workforce has achieved a high level of efficiency and teamwork. The staff is supported by a number of specialist supervisors. This cooperation combination of personnel allows us to respond quickly and effectively to the project’s technical needs. Many of the design modifications that may be required by the client can be performed in house furthermore; having in house specialists in the various disciplines ensures the highest level of quality control for all project elements.

Through our planning team, an adequate effort is given to each project, regardless of size, to forecast end results and avoid unforeseen problems. Various construction methods are normally analyzed prior selection of final plan in order to achieve optimum cost and early finish.

With a great emphasis on procurement, our highly experienced staff maintains a good data bank of national & international suppliers to cater to all types of materials. A procurement plan is tailored for each and every project to get materials on time without delays. With a controlled flow of documents and information between project management team and the procurement department, we have been able to minimize purchasing errors.

Al Latifia is indeed proud of what it has been able to achieve since its commencement of operations in 1987. As a matter of fact, due to our placement of Quality Control on top priority, some of our clients are constant and repeated clients.

Minimum three (3) phase inspection method to assure quality

Al Latifia has a well organized and detailed Quality Control Manual, to be implemented in each site.

The Quality Control shall include as a minimum of three phases of inspection for each definable feature of construction as follows :

Preparatory Phase

Initial Phase

Follow Up Phase

The following additional phases shall also be adopted to ensure stringent quality control

Closure Inspection.

Deficiency Tracking.

Completion Inspection.

Punch Out Inspection.

Pre-Final Inspection.

As Built drawing.

Final Acceptance Inspection.
